Marriage is honorable in all . . . .
. . . the Bible states in Hebrews 13 verse 4. However, who determines when it is honorable? Is it the individual that is getting married; is it the civil law? Or, the one who instituted marriage in the first place–the creator of this universe.
Same-sex marriages are now allowed in about 10 states and Washington DC. Even the President is now approving gay and lesbian marriages!
There are two important truths we need to discuss here. One is moral truth and one is natural laws of procreation truth.
MORAL TRUTH
There is an objective standard for morality. This truth is laid down in divine law, the Bible, which is the written, inspired Word of the living God.
This divine law is silent about any marriage other than between a man and woman (male and female). All divine law concerns that marriage. It is the only ONE that is regulated by God Almighty in the Bible.
From Geneses chapter one, verse 1 to Revelations chapter twenty-two, verse 21, marriage is regulated for men and women.
What makes marriage honorable in all . . . is sexual purity of the man and woman before marriage. That marriage is treated as honorable even after marriage, when husband and wife are faithful to one another. Before and after marriage, (Hebrews 13:4) the "marriage bed is to be undefiled" i.e. kept pure, meaning that sexual activity is to be only in the marriage of one husband and one wife.
Sex outside this marriage (before or after) God's judgment is against what verse 4 is called "fornicators (sexual immorality) and adulterers."
Gay and Lesbian marriages fall under God's judgment, His disapproval. The marriage bed has been defiled!
BIOLOGICAL TRUTH
Natural law tells us that procreation requires both male and female. Mankind, womankind exist under this truth. Every homosexual was not born into this world to be homosexual. He had both a mother and father (married or not). Every lesbian was not born into this world as a lesbian. She had both a father and mother (married or not).
Two males cannot reproduce after its "kind"; two females cannot reproduce after their "kind." They can never under God's moral and natural law be blessed with children of their own. It is biologically impossible!
They can never be a true family that God Almighty has arranged for and demanded of the human race.
The present society has been deceived into tolerating what God does not. Our culture has become illiterate in Bible knowledge. Pressure by gay and lesbian organizations upon government officials is legalizing their marriage. That ignorance of Biblical principle is helping them to succeed.
Many religious leaders among the denominations have fallen prey to this deception (Satan is called the deceiver in the Bible). Government, judicial, legislative and admistration, state and national, are also falling in line to this deception.
The Bible plainly tells us that those who give approval to that lifestyle are just as guilty and deserving of God's judgment as those men and women who do live that kind of lifestyle.
. . . and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and
adulterers God will judge.
